LiveScan fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically with our advanced LiveScan machine.

Our state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff are able to maximize the quality of fingerprint images obtained; Electronic fingerprints provide virtually error free fingerprints. Our state of the art equipment instantly reads the fingerprints and determines if the print is valid and will reduce the overall application processing time. We are photo capable as well and can submit your picture to the Clearinghouse if required by your agency. Each agency has their own unique ORI number which should be provided to us when registering for fingerprinting.

Live scan fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically with our advanced Live Scan machine. With Live Scan fingerprinting, there is no ink or card. Your fingerprints are “rolled” across a glass plate and scanned. It is faster, cleaner and more accurate than the old ink and roll method.

A percentage of the population have difficult to read fingerprints, which can be affected by age or exposure to certain types of work such as construction or from prolonged exposure to various chemicals. Our state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff are able to maximize the quality of fingerprint images obtained, which reduces the likelihood of illegible fingerprints and will reduce the overall application processing time. The fingerprints are then submitted to the specific state or federal agency to process.

Yes; we are fully equipped and trained to collect a digital photo with the fingerprint collection. The FL Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) and the Department of Health now require a digital photograph to be included with a fingerprint submission. If you register for either of these programs, you will be able to schedule your appointment at a SCANMANFL site with both fingerprint and photo-capture capabilities.

Livescan fingerprints are printed  captured electronically, via a digital image that can be transmitted electronically; this provides for a faster and more accurate fingerprint collection process. 

Yes, however, walk-ins are welcome but may require a wait time.

Per FBI regulation, your prints cannot be shared between professions or with other agencies. You are required to have separate prints for each license you are applying for, using the correct ORI.

All applicants will be required to bring two (2) forms of identification to the electronic fingerprinting site on the day of scheduled fingerprinting. One of the two types of identification must bear your picture and signature such as a driver’s license, state identification card or passport. Applicants cannot be permitted to be fingerprinted without proper identification.

DBPR will retain results of the prints for 12 months from the date your digital fingerprints were electronically received by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. FDLE retain the prints for 180 days only. If your prints have expired at the time your application is submitted to the department, you will be required to submit new prints again.
