A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by State Government — typically by the Secretary of State — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. (Source: National Notary Association)
You may receive documents that have already been prepared by your bank, attorney or even your child’s school. However, please be sure you do not sign the documents until you are in the presence of the notary.
Besides the documents, and each person who is required to sign the documents, you will be required to produce a photo bearing identification.

Our office will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Presidents Day.  We will re-open on Tuesday, February 17th. Â
